Stephan Jacobs Releases Self-Titled Debut Album

Artist Stephan Jacobs has been hard at work this past year, trotting his way through various collaborations, tours, releases, and even the establishment of his own record label. Upon wrapping up his summer tour with IDENTITY Festival dates, the highly regarded producer has taken yet another step toward autonomy with the debut of his first full-length, self-titled album on his new label Bass Cartel. The album is now available for donation or free download.

“I have been working on these songs over the past few years and this album is a handful of songs that I have decided represent my sound up until now. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some great vocalists, such as Delevo, Koza, and Jaclyn Strong. I got to record some live instrumentation with my good friends SunEvil and Sergio Flores for ‘Tap My Shoulder.’

This album was created based off the experience of living in the city of Los Angeles. My sound has developed into its own entity and with my recent collaborations and tour, I have begun to capture the essence of what I believe to be a reflection of myself through music. There will be a launch of new merchandise soon that will include t-shirts, hats, and signed custom boomboxes from iHome, and signed posters, all keeping this theme.”
