With only a few days away from the 3rd annual Camp Coldbrook Music and Arts Festival, an enormous effort is taking place. A large minded festival that secured its origins in spirituality and community is shaping up to be another great year for this large hearted event. Coldbrook is hosting 100 fantastic acts, old and new, across 4 stages including 2 pools and a Silent Disco for 3 straight days and 2 nights of celebration on a beautiful 140-acre resort. It officially begins Friday June 21st at 10am and continues through Sunday June 23rd at 6:30pm.
Coldbrook is hosting a variety of headliners such as 10 Foot Ganja Plant, Break Science, Christian Martin, Max Creek, Silky, and Worthy. Dirtybird, the wildly popular San Francisco based record label, will feature an exclusive 5-hour poolside BBQ on Saturday afternoon from 3pm-8pm at the Pool Stage with Christian Martin, Worthy, Mark Starr, and Sergio Santos.
Camp Coldbrook will also be offering a variety of technology workshops as well as food and arts vendors. The gallery will feature digital art, spray paint, and everything in between. You will find interactive art installations throughout the campgrounds, live painting, and an array of VJ’s and visual artists.
Bridging family with festival, they fully integrated family camping with a kids center as well as transformational space hosted by EvocUnity, joining the Coldbrook Camp in full force to hold space for positive intention with this collaborative concept, “Exploring Views of Consciousness, Creativity, Community, and Culture to awaken a sense of Unity.”
EvocUnity will also be providing a Connection Dome, Presentation and Workshop Stage, Library and Relaxation Lounge, Conscious Media Screening Room, and Visionary Art Gallery.
A few words from the EvocUnity crew, “Beginning with the design and construction of transformational spaces, we create outer environments to facilitate inner exploration. With careful attention to the energies of the day and the group, our team guides a journey of exploration into consciousness, creativity, community and culture. From presentations to guided practices to co-creative experiences, we invite you to relax, explore, connect, create, inspire, and EvocUnity!” These workshops include but are not limited to belly dancing, drum circles, reiki, meditation, and yoga.
Camp Coldbrook Music and Arts Festival is teaming up with audio gurus to share tutorial technology workshops. The Technology Workshops feature classes with the top audio production software and the latest Pioneer Nexus gear. These workshops will take place in the arcade on Saturday and Sunday, located on the backside of the auditorium building facing the pool. Additionally, for all the golfers out there, they have a 9-hole golf course available all weekend and also have a golf tournament that will occur on Sunday with winners receiving prizes.
Best yet, all of this is included with your ticket!

It seeks to cross the divide between the versatility of digital audio and the tactile control of vinyl turntablism and has become the industry’s dominant digital DJ’ing tool.
12:45 – 1:15pm: Pioneer Nexus Showcase – BamBooRa
Pioneer is the industry standard for DJ and Live performance market, because of their amazing quality of technology featured in products such as the Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus and Pioneer DJM 2000 Nexus. These products work with a program called rekordbox, which is an application for managing music files that can be played back on a pioneer cdj’s such as the 2000’s or 900’s.
Sunday June 23nd
12 – 12:30pm: Native Instruments TRAKTOR Scratch Pro – Mike Fisher
This is a DJ software package developed by Native Instruments. The most recent version, Traktor Scratch Pro 2, offers seamless looping, effects, automatic beat-gridding of tracks, advanced beat detection and Sync Lock for automatic synchronization of tracks. It has real-time track management with incremental searching, artwork browsing, iTunes compatibility, automatic gain control, integrated recorder supporting internal and external audio input, support for multiple MIDI controllers and advanced MIDI assignments, as well as the syncing of external gear through MIDI clock functionality.
12:45 – 1:30pm: Logic Pro & Ableton Live – Robbie DelPrete & Michael McCarthy
Ableton Live is a loop-based software music sequencer and digital audio workstation for OS X and Windows. The latest major release of Live, Version 9, was released in March 2013. In contrast to many other software sequencers, Live is designed to be an instrument for live performances as well as a tool for composing, recording, arranging, mixing and mastering. It is also used for beat-mixing of tracks by DJs, as it offers a suite of controls for beat matching, crossfading, and other effects used by turntablists, and was one of the first music applications to automatically beat match songs.
Logic Pro provides software instruments, synthesizers, audio effects and recording facilities for music synthesis. It also supports Apple Loops – royalty-free professionally-recorded instrument loops. Audio effects include distortions, dynamics processors, equalization filters and/or delays. The Space Designer plugin simulates the acoustics of audio played in different environments, such as rooms of varying size, or produces the echoes that might be heard on high mountains. Logic Pro can work with MIDI keyboards and control surfaces for input and processing, and for MIDI output. It features real-time scoring in musical notation, supporting guitartablature, chord abbreviations and drum notation.
