Artist Spotlight: Booty Thrill

Booty Thrill is a beat-maker/instrumentalist from Dallas, Texas whose latest release “Phewture Funk” is already gaining national recognition. Booty Thrill is an organic mixture of boogie funk, layered with hip-hop grooves, analog synthesizers and cosmically funky bass lines. Alex Seikaly helped furnish his versatile musical background through his studies as guitar principle at Boston’s revered Berklee College of Music. Recently however, he has fallen in love with beat-making. “I just wanted to do something different- this album blends together elements of several genres I love: It’s J Dilla meets Milli Vanilli.”

“I’m really proud of this album and the greatest reward is to just have people listen to it.” Booty Thrill has big plans for the future including a summer European tour, dates at SXSW in Austin, a trip into the northeast, and a new album that’s due out in May. “The feedback so far has been great- I’m not planning on stopping anytime soon.”
