Charles Smith, a.k.a. DJ Blaqstarr, is releasing Blaqstarr: The Mixtape on April 12 (which you can download for free on his website). Blaqstarr is best known for his collaboration with artist, M.I.A. The Maryland native said in a recent interview with KarmaLoop SkeeTV, “Blaqstarr: The Mixtape is going to give the world an example of the power that I’m coming with for the album this summer that I’m sharing with you all.” MIA, Diplo, Steve Aoki, Young Money, Lil Wayne, Mos Def, and Amy Winehouse are just a few of the talented artists that will be making an appearance on The Mixtape. “I’d describe this as boundless, there was no limit to the inspiration that came to put in my work,” Blaqstarr concluded.
