Always hesitant when it comes to a Red Hot Chili Pepper’s remix, although I will say that I did have faith in one of my favorite artists of late, Kalya Scintilla. If anybody was going to pull this off, it’s him. Mixing fresh wobble sounds with that Bay Area dub feel, he lets the original tune playout in a way that it relinqueshes any feelings and emotions that this song has always brought upon you. Hailing from Austrailia, I have seen his name pop up more and more. If Zed’s Dead and their remix catalog is any indiciation of how to take your unique sound and blow it up to huge notoriety, Kalya is onto something here. Either way, I’ve heard his name a lot as of late, be sure to checkout and free d/l this 2011 rendition of a 1995 song.
