The upcoming Tipper show at Brownstone Park on July 28th is going to be an experience for all of your senses. The show’s lineup includes acts such as Cinnamon Chasers (Abakus side project), The Manhattan Project, Bluetech, Ian Stewart, and various others opening for Tipper at Brownstone Park in Portland, CT. Brownstone Park isn’t your ordinary venue. Under normal operation, this venue is an outdoor adventure park, complete with zip lines, a rock climbing wall, a cliff jump, and many more activities. Thankfully all of these will be open during the day of the show as well, so if you need a break from the music to fulfill a sudden urge to jump off a three-story cliff, go right ahead. All of the activities are included in the price of your ticket.
Of course, the main attraction at the park on the special day is the music. You should be prepared for your ears to be rattled with the state of the art Funktion One sound system for the three night-time acts, Tipper, Nominus, and Bluetech. Funktion One has used their sound system for events ranging from the world-class Glastonbury Festival to London’s Millennium Dome central show and now it is being used for Tipper’s debut show in Connecticut. The Funktion One is a quadrophonic sound system, meaning that speakers are placed in the four corners of the listening space, completely surrounding the listener with a figurative room of sound. This experience is definitely a not to be missed event, so be sure to head over to Brownstone Park in Portland, CT on July 28th!
