Phutureprimitive, hailing from Portland, OR, has long been one of our favorite artists. Known for his sexy, gliding, ethereal womps, he blends his bass music with funky, beautiful sounds like no other. We caught up with him at BB Kings in NYC, where he was headlining Mr. Bugsly‘s afterparty for The Disco Biscuits. He speaks on the evolution of becoming a full time musician, the paths he almost took instead, and the importance of dancing out your demons on the dancefloor.
