New Starkey Heat April 19th

Starkey‘s back with more brutal beats- a new album called Ear Drums And Black Holes dropping April 19th. This is straight ridin music, heard? More street than manholes, G.

You want grimey womps and musical bling? You want black ooze bubbling from speakers, blood dripping from virgin ears? The diabolical despair only a lifelong 76ers fan could conjure synthesized into brain-buzzing waves? Get served!

His music has a lot of swagger to it but also a subtlety that sets him apart from other hip-hop and dubstep producers. It is ominous and sad, segued with hopeful synth melodies, yearning, lamenting, gliding along, then hitting you so hard that nothing matters anymore – all your demons are exercised and then exorcised.

PJ Geissinger has been reppin Philly as the Starkbot for six years, garnering international attention for his energetic dj sets and original sound. He is co-owner of Slit Jockey Records along with Dev79 and El Carnicero and a member of the Seclusiasis and TROUBLE AND BASS crews.

Following up his 2006 debut on Werk Discs, Local Headlines, Starkey’s last album Ephemeral Exhibits from 2008 on Planet Mu put him on the map in the dubstep and crunk beat worlds. This release shows that he’s only getting better and is here to stay.
