Australia’s ShockOne is making a lot of noise on Viper Records. He has a big sound, ranging from Drum n Bass beats to Dubstep to dramatic Electro, combining the driving sounds of Pendulum with the tribal beats of Leftfield and the spastic energy of The Prodigy to create a new take on established genres. His track “Polygon (Dirtyphonics Remix)” featured in the video has been the #1 Drum n’ Bass download on Beatport since it dropped in September and was included in Pendulum‘s recent Essential Mix. A full-length album is expected in early 2011, keep your ears up for it. This Aussie is holding his own with dark, diverse offerings that bang with the best of em.
