D~R Dyaphonoyze

D-R Dyaphonoyze, aka the Doctor of Rage, has gone by many monikers and pseudonyms in his 24 years on this planet, including Big Dawgs and Ill Will.  Originally from the burbs of NYC, Willie currently resides in the Redwood Forests of Northern California while he is attending Humboldt State University studying Natural Resources Management and Outdoor Recreation.  Besides being a student of higher education, under the Name Dyaphonoyze, Willie is a DJ and Producer of all sorts of live hardware electronic music (down with lab tops) and most recently a contributor of reviews, interviews and photographs to LIS, bringing a coast to coast connection of coverage for the ever expanding music blog.  

Last minute road trips, bigger than necessary sound equipment and dressing up in costumes for no other reason than freaking out the normies are all things that the Doctor of Rage enjoys, as well as good beer, good food, good herb, good people and ALL sorts of good music.

The summer of ’09 proved to be filled with life changing events, including a brief, yet serious run in with the law, which resulted in some drastic lifestyle changes.  This altercation, paired with an introduction to the heavy basslines of  Dubstep and Grime at Camp Bisco 8 and a life changing cross country road trip, proved to be a huge factor in helping the Doctor of Rage fine tune the art of Raging Responsibly and Using his Head.
