Here are the videos from Bonobo Live Band on Easter Night (Sunday 4/4/10), @ The Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. It was an incredible show, and it fortified how much LiS LOVES SIMON GREEN!!! Showing off his musical genius, Simon jumped around the stage from instrument to instrument (bass, computer, keys, etc.) Andreya Triana let the crowd know how beautiful & powerful her voice is, as about half of the songs required her vocals. Her debut single “Lost Where I Belong” dropped today (4/5/10), which will be followed by a full album release on Ninja Tune Records August 23rd, produced by Simon “Bonobo” Green.
The Encore – “Between the Lines” + A Second Jam
The set lasted about 80-90 minutes and left the crowd hungry for more, which is why I am attending tonight’s show @ The Bowery Ballroom. This North American tour is going to really boost Bonobo’s notoriety in the states. A lot of his tracks can’t be transformed into the band setting, being that they are produced and written all by his lonesome. You can tell that at certain times Simon wishes he had seven of himself to perform on stage. When the drummer had a few {minor} slip ups, he shot him a look that said “You better fix that up and get it right!” However, the technicality and crispness of the drummer was one of a kind. He is amazing, and it’s quite entertaining to watch him, because he’s out there having a great time. The whole experience is incredible; all of the musicians are extremely talented. They were all handpicked by Simon and it’s apparent.

*Excuse the first 30 seconds or so, I had to run up to the balcony.
