New ESKMO Track [Dubwar NYC 2/19 Preview]

Amon Tobin’s philosophy in life- which happens to take place amongst us, in the music world- is all about spreading the love. Just as much as he is a musician, he is also a resource of new material for fans to eat up as fast as their modems will let them. Each month, Amon personally updates his website with a featured artist. This month happens to spotlight ESKMO just as his NYC show falls upon us, with the infamous DubWar NYC. Tonight’s (Friday February 19th) show is going to be nothing short of stellar. It happens to be a WARP RECORDS release party with Shackleton, Eskmo, Eprom and all the DubWar NYC residents. WOW, Club Love has done it again- twice in one week to be precise.
Similar to Club Love and my musical experiences these days, ESKMO does not disappoint, yielding yet another single that I find myself listening to on repeat. The song has the signature ESKMO sound: full, well-produced, compressed yet floating, and floor-creaking bass. The snare hit, immediately smacking down after the bass kick, sounds like a 12oz. can of Sprite being pried open. From Eskmo.com Brendan writes, “The track was made with various field recordings gathered on travel; a good portion of them being samples of my little sisters talking.” Enjoy the free download and ensure you make it out to Club Love; you’ll be amazed by their sound system and ESKMO‘s one-of-a-kind performance.

ESKMO – House of Blues Boston – Opening for STS9
**Keep on the lookout for ESKAMON, a collaboration between Eskmo and Amon Tobin, which sounds nothing short of incredible. (Give Amon‘s new track a listen as well)

This sounds awesome. Definitely not missing Eskmo twice in a row. Anyone know who else is in the dubstep war?
